Assemblies and Conventions in Guadalajara

Hi Family and Friends!

While we've been in Mexico our assemblies and conventions have been in Guadalajara - about 4-5 hours from Manzanillo.  The drive is beautiful.

At our One Day Assembly and Two Day Circuit Assembly we had about 900 in attendance.

This is a traditional Mexican winter drink - it is warm and sweet and spicy - with chunks of fruit, nuts, cinnamon sticks, sugar cane sticks and other yummy things.

The Manzanillo District Convention is held in Colima - a couple hours away.

This is Claudia - Luis Alberto's sister - and her husband Oscar and Jesse.  We stayed with them for the Convention.  We've become good friends with them.

It was wonderful attending the convention in this huge open air stadium.  The peak attendance was about 12,500.

We got to hear experiences of our Mexican brothers and sisters.  This brother is from the Nahuatl speaking culture.

The kids did a great job paying attention.

It was delightful to see old friends - and make some new ones.  Adorable little tykes!

While Dane was Attending outside the Chairmans office he couldn't move from his post.  But that didn't prevent him from making new friends :-)
