Sightseeing in Guadalajara

So this post has some highlights of sightseeing in Guadalajara. We go there for our Assemblies and District Conventions. This time we had a great visit from our good friends Bernie and Kathy from Hillsboro, OR. They were great!

These are called "guamuchiles". They're very common in Manzanillo also. It's technically a fruit I guess.

OK so we know in the above picture you are seeing the American restaurants in the background. Guad has lots of them. We prefer local food :-)

Hi Dane and Emily.

My name Is Kim and I AM a Dane, living in Ireland at the moment and I am looking for a place in Mexico to serve for some months.
Can you let me have some details with regards to cost of living, chances of renting a small furnished house, how safe it is, no not the house, and what the chances are for starting some studies. I fairly like the ministry, so it wont be for lack of trying.
