Scenes from the Ministry

We made it through the hurricane that hit. And besides lots of dusty roads and a few water damaged books our belongings are fine. Dane and I have been busy with studies and enjoying the ministry.

Because many ask...

The next two pictures are a few sisters who came to visit and serve in Manzanillo for as long as they could. Gloria (showing peace) is from Los Mochis, Mexico and has been here before. And the two sisters next to Tiffany came from other parts of the States.

The sister on the left (Serenity) is here for 6 months from Las Vegas. An interesting "small world" moment with her is that her congregation was being served by Circuit Overseer Tim Antonio before he was asked to move and serve in Portland, Oregon.

Since it rains a lot in the summer, right now (November) the area is lush and green. In our ministry, along with dusty roads , we get to enjoy this foliage.

It seems like this kid needs a crib-on-the-go. We thought he was pretty cute.

One of my Bible studies is up a hill closer to the beach where the nicer hotels are - the nicer neighborhood.

There is help needed in English everywhere here in Mexico. If you write the branch asking where there is needed assistance, you will get a list of cities (Manzanillo is on that list). As evidence of the growth, the Branch just added 3 new Circuit Overseers to Mexico English. We just had our CO visit in mid-November.

Currently we have about 24 Publishers, 11 Pioneers (and one visiting for 6 months from Las Vegas), 3 Elders (one is leaving soon) and 3 Servants. Here are our Regular Pioneers:

We both have Bible Studies that are doing well. Dane currently has 4 with 1 in the hopper (which means he needs to find him home, he’s a Doctor on call at a hospital). I have 3 also. One has attended a few Sunday meetings.
