Cinque Terre, Sienna, Florence

The Europe trip continues - Cinque Terre, Sienna, Florence:

As requested pictorial PROOF that I'm (Emily) on the trip. Thanks everyone for making me pose!

The train rides are a lot of fun. We see lots of the countryside and amazing old villas and it's a big step up from eating in the car, especially when its the local goodies! Once again, we were BLOWN AWAY by Jehovah's creation! The 7 mile coastal hike along Cinque Terre (5 Towns) was breathtaking. The great sunset pic is the view from the back balcony of where we stayed. Part of the hike was nicknamed "Via dell' Amore" ("Lovers Lane") hence the campy pic on the bench.

Sienna changed our idea of what Medieval Europe was like. Very interesting. Florence lives up to its reputation as a mecca of art. We can't take it all in - it's overwhelming. All we can say so far is Art, Art and More Art. The gelato is helping keep us cool.

We leave Florence Sat for Sardinia for a much needed LONG nap and chillin on the beach with some of our PDX buddies.

Hope everyone is doing well!!! Miss you all!
