We were so grateful that the Guadalajara Regional Convention got moved to late October so we were able to attend. The Governing Body speaker at the International Convention in Mexico City was Bro. Sanderson. So we got to see him on the big screen! In total tied into Mexico City was 55 Regional Convention locations: Mexico, Panama, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala. 306,004 in attendance.
Our group pacing backstage
We were all so nervous!
Our first time on a Convention part - we knew eventually they would have a part that required a couple of "characters".
Then it was time to behave
It was a small Convention - about 700 - But it was nice to see 6 get baptized.
Philippe is now a new brother in our congregation
Back in Manzanillo - Ballet Folklorico - a variety of traditional dances
This pic shows better what the dancers were holding -
Luis and LaNae's PreWedding
Luis is Gama's brother
As nice as it is to hang w our Peeps we've missed so much we couldn't wait to get out and see our studies!
Three drinks and ready to go!
Josh and Holly had a great time with Sandra and Rudy (this is Sandra's little boy Eric). It was so nice to see this dear family again!
And Sandra's little girl Natalie
It was so great to see my sweet Paulina. We exchanged messages over the summer but I still missed her so much. I was grateful Olga took great care of her.
Here are her cousins getting the meat out of a coconut. (Paulina is shy sometimes about being in pics so she was to the side watching the fun but not pictured.)
Paulina's chickens and this lizard were fascinated with each other - they had a stand off for several minutes
After a big rainstorm Paulina's street is a stream for a couple of days - it was fun to listen to while we studied
It was a treat to make ice cream and study with Olga's adorable little study!
Street gangs of gentle spirited dogs is a common sight
We spent the day witnessing in a nearby town. We decided to take a little walk on the beach and Dane found someone to witness to.
Many things here we've seen before but these next few sights made us do double takes. We were driving next to this earth mover when we noticed it had picked up more than earth.
The last few weeks have been uneventful. I have been feeling oddly exhausted and constantly on the verge of getting sick for a number of months. I decided to do the most intensive cleanse I've ever done - a parasite and liver cleanse. It ended up being 18 days long - I just finished. Parasites excrete toxins when they die off so I'm not feeling up to full strength yet but it was very effective. So hopefully I'll get my energy back soon.
We'd love to hear a quick update on how you're doing!
Sending Love and BIG Hugs to All!

Hi Andrea. Nice to hear from our fellow brothers and sisters from around the world. And since you're in Tasmania quite literally the other side of the world :-) We are still serving here in Manzanillo and have no plans to leave. Apologies for not having a post in a while, we didn't know anyone was worried :) We have been busy and, well a bit behind on our service time. So we've been busy catching up. Thanks for the message!
